Check Out This Site

I just bought House Of Dark Shadows at the book fair last week.

I decided to check out the website for the author.

It's pretty cool! http://www.robertliparulo.com/

OK...give it a try

OK...I have set up some groups on our IMBEE.
SO, I think we should be close to getting this up and running.
Let's see if we can figure this out over the weekend.
Next week will be a busy one for me with conferences, so this weekend I will be trying to get a lot of stuff done. (including figuring out our IMBEE!)
HELP ME GANG!
Hope to talk to you this weekend.

Start Again

Sorry about the failure of THE NING!!
I know we were having fun there...and I would like to see our IMBEE place be just as cool!

Tell me how it's going on there?

Let's make a point of trying to go there more often!

How about it?

This is where you need to post your reflection on the biography/autobiography book that you've read!

Tuesday

Today we read the article: Our Daddy, Doctor King.
It was a great article, and you guys really brought some great discussion to it.
We also read that song/poem about Civil Rights.
I was very impressed with the way you were able to dissect it and come up with deeper meaning to it. NICELY DONE!!!
No homework tonight...
OH...I guess it's now Wednesday.
SO...no homework LAST NIGHT!
I am at that Electronic Writing workshop today. I can't wait to learn new stuff and bring it back to show you.
I will miss you all today.
Have a fantastic day!
See you on Thursday!

Monday

Today I guess RAH sheets didn't get handed out to my morning classes.
SORRY!
Remind me to do it tomorrow.
Also, don't forget to do your Sentence Beginning worksheet #13. It's due tomorrow.
I missed you guys today. I hate being gone....but I was at a seminar on Writer's Workshop.
I've got some great ideas to do with it. How exciting!
How was your weekend?
Mine was good.
How about all this snow and cold?
BRRRR!!!
Stay warm guys!

It's Friday

I think this first week back went fairly well... don't you?
It's good to be back with you guys.
I so enjoy teaching you kids, and watching your passion for reading and writing grow.
It's amazing how much more you read and write than at the beginning of the year.
Don't forget to turn in your Read-at-Home sheet on Monday. Rememeber to get it signed! Next week is the last week of the 2nd quarter.
WOW! Have a fantastic weekend!
