I am having a hard time believing it's October already.
We have conferences tomorrow.
I am settling in to a routine, and it is getting better.
I still miss my teacher friends, and I for sure miss my students.
It's such a long time until you get to the high school!!!

I just checked out Identical. My girls here are reading it....and think it's amazing.

What is the author? And what's it about?
It's a series.
I have Identical...but I actually don't think it's the first in the series.
The author is Ellen Hopkins and her books are:
Crank, Burned, Impulse, Glass and Identical.
If you read any of them....let me know what you think!!

If I do read them it won't be for a while because I am currently reading Peeps by Scott Westerfeld and there's a second book in the series that I have on hold at the public library and I have Demon in my View, In the Forests of the Night, and Shattered Mirror by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and The Darkangel book one by Meredith Ann Pierce all checked out from the school library. Also I am in the middle of the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling and The Vampire Chronicles series by Anne Rice. I will tell you that the books I am reading now are very good and the books I have checked out sound really good. I can't wait to start reading them!
I looked up those books on the library webpage and usually they say what series books are in and what number it is in the series but it doesn't say anything about them being in a series.
